Hi,

In order to continue the widescreen topic from assembler games forum. Here my save :

I tried to put the games in alphabetical order.

This is a save I did, just before the AG forum went down. I copy all the codes from around 80 pages of the topic.
I saved only the hex code because the game shark and action replay codes are list in other forum like here :

So that I know there is at least two games which needs an update for their hex patch :
Solidier of fortune and Shadow man

Esppiral posted a widescreen hex patch for Soldier of fortune, which seems to work fine but it hides or make invisible the crosshair and playing without one is impossible for me. Can someone here inform @Esppiral so he can look for a solution. Would be awesome to finally play Sof in 16:9 on the dreamcast

Shadow man hex code have clipping Espirral have done a render fix but the kinematic are beyond understanting with textures bugs. the big problem that is unplayable in first person for shooting.

With my render fix the kinematic are good and we can zoom well, but there is some little clipping in the game that we don't have with Espirral render fix...
I think it's possible to do a perfect hex patch, but I don't know the issue...

I'm sorry to report two Espirral's hex patch little problem, I'm really gratefull for all he had done, it's an amazing work. I want to highlight his work a new time, he deserves well like all hex patch maker (megavolt85 etc...) I'm sorry to forgot most of them).

As I share on dreamcast-talk forum here my best combo for Grandia II, widescreen more 60 FPS for fightings
I used the @megavolt85 hex patch thanks to him.
I removed the widescreen during paused and main menu, because there is a glitch with the back front. For me it's not important, hope it will be same for you ;-)
The 60FPS patch removed the little clipping when you finish a fight, may there is a little few, but I didn't notice, for me, it's very good !
The last glitch is during the fight menu : you can see behind the image that doesn't move when an item is selected. Nothing serious.

The number of right are the replacing datas in big endian instead of little endian in hacks.
The number of left are the adress in main .bin with an offset but I don't see what exactly is ?...
the adresses 0x265418, 0x030E68, 0x030D1C are good in the main.bin but if I did the same for removing the black bars :
0x318c5c it takes me beyond the end of datas in main.bin...

I still don't understand how to convert the adress of codebreaker to a hex code.

Also is there a Shenmue 1 and 2 (Pal) widescreen codes for codebreaker with no clipping in the additional 16:9 area?

There is a code breaker code in the list but I don't know if it works also for US version :

shenmue 2: I don't know if you can find a code breaker for shenmue I & II...
For me there are too many things to patch codebreaker.

But there is already full patch with no clipping version @Esppiral has done a fantastic job :

You can pick the 1ST_READ.BIN and repack the game you want (PAL/US for shenmue I/JAP with english or JAP voices)
And the format you want (cdi or gdi)

Imho the best DC multiplayer game of all time.

4 players + OSAKA = never ending fun =)

We used to call it Mettwurst (a kind of german sausage, any germans here?) bcs it sounds very similar. Even today when meeting some old friends they still ask for a round of Mettwurst. Other people hearing it are quite confused. It sounds a bit filthy if one guy asks another for a round of sausage. xD

If I had one wish it would be the ws code for this game. Word!

I see, so no hope for Under Defeat, it's also understandable, Under Defeat really pushed the DC so that's why there is nothing beyond the screen.

Any hope for Border Down in future? It's one of my most wanted for 16:9.
