Got a little free time so here is another gem of mine...
Here is a debug build of the unreleased Cipher Complex for the X360. It is only one mission and is essentially a "vertical slice" of what the game was to be if it were completed. As far as I know, Edge of Reality created this to show off to Sega who was interested in producing the game at this time. It has a VERY extensive debug menu. There is also another test area with separate xexs included to access it, that allows you to access a number of test rooms and an unfinished tutorial that EoR was in the process of making for the game.
The protagonist's abilities revolved around stealth and the use of adrenaline. Essentially you can sneak around and use your adrenaline (which the suit you wear supposedly amplifies) in order to do complex takedowns (can also chain takedowns) as well as vault to locations not normally accessible. When using your adrenaline (like for takedowns), there is a time dilation feature where time slows allowing you to get the drop on, and maneuver around, enemies more efficiently. There is also a cover system, though it does feel somewhat rudimentary by comparison to the rest of the game. For a game this early in development, this single level still feels VERY polished all things considered. The debug menu allows you to do a TON of stuff including free cam, wireframe, turn on/off AI, invulnerability, among MANY other things (capped a few images). Too many options to list.
In the mission, you start out infiltrating a warehouse from the roof. You take down multiple goons before making your way down an elevator shaft to a foundry. In the foundry you make your way to the general who you are supposed to extract, but ultimately end up killing...and the level ends from there with a mission complete screen. From there you are dumped back to title screen.
Enjoy the caps, and please remember that I dont sell builds so please dont ask. Thanks. <3
Those of you familiar with Hard4Games on YT might recognize this as I lent them this unit for an episode (look it up on YT if you want to see video).
