Among PS2 consoles with the same model number there are countless variations that make finding matching donor units extremely difficult without first disassembling both units. Does anyone know of a method for matching similar PS2s without opening them up?
In particular I've got apparently identical SCPH-3000x models and while everything fits together the top and bottom housings have a terrible looking gap when put together. If anyone's figured out a system that uses numbers on the labels it would be a massive help.
