Hey, I got a PS3 TOOL from EA a couple of weeks ago and it has some Battlefield Development Files on it. There are no full or playable games on it but ~4GB of Game / Patch Files. Are these Files useful at all?

Always worth preserving, make sure to check for deleted stuff too!

Thanks, where are deleted files located on the PS3 filesystem?
Did you dump your PS3 TOOL's hard drive before booting on the console? That guarantees more development data once on the system that can be saved.

Either way, you can install CFW on the TOOL, dump the eid_root_key, and browse all contents including deleted data with either R-Studio or these recovery tools: https://github.com/tdijital/psrecovery-py
