General Information:

This is a trial version of a japanese game called Berserk Millennium Falcon Hen Seima Senki no Sho (ベルセルク 千年帝国の鷹篇 聖魔戦記の章) for the PS2. The Demo was packaged with a limited edition of the game Vampire Panic in Japan. The game is based on the manga Berserk (who would have guessed!) and covers the manga volumes 22-27.

The TGS Demo contains a small portion of chapter 4 showcasing the troll fight in the village and eventually fight agains the Ogle, once defeated the demo ends. The Demo overall contains little differences here and there from the final game.

-The Warning Logos when booting up the game are in one united screen
-The Future Media Creators logo has no sound
-The Dolby Digital Logo is not used, however it's present in the game files
-The Intro of the game is an actual trailer
-When pressing start at the logo, the heads in the background don't stop moving unlike in the retail
-The Difficulty Selection menu has a different background and an extra notice, the text says only the easy mode can be selected in the trial version
-The Demo uses several different loading screens for the demo that are not present in the final game
-The dialoge at the beginning of the demo was changed
-The dialoge uses a cut potrait for Guts
-The Killstreak counter has a different position
-The Gnome positions in the village are different and some Gnomes are not present in the final version
-The Hay near the barn is not marked on the minimap
-The Video files that are used have placeholder audiocues, the real audio is hidden
-Videos that aren't used have been replaced by placeholder videos that just display the file name of said video
-The Village uses some different camera angles, one being buggy and showing map chunks before they load in

Datamining:

Now this is where it gets really intresting. A friend of mine SolidSnake11 digged into the files for me and was actually able to locate a unhooked debug menu inside the files. After a lot of work he was actually able to program a proper way to load it into the game. Unfortunatley the menu doesn't work properly but it exists.

After some checking it turns out the TGS Demo is the only known build so far to the contain the menu.

There are also some unused images in the Demo wich were probably from older demos used at other TGS shows.
