Still no luck :(
Tested continuity
- from STM B8 to leftmost resistor on motherboard -- OK (see image)
- from STM B9 to second resistor on motherboard -- OK
- from STM G to ground on motherboard -- OK
- from STM 5V to 5V on motherboard -- OK
I also made sure there are no shorts to any other pins
I also tried swapping the two data pins in case I had the wrong orientation -- didn't work at all like that

I wonder if maybe my STM32 is bad?
25PE memory is not required, correct? I have not received in the mail yet, so I am making it without memory right now.

Impressive how Quake uses the second analog and even let me map all the extra buttons.
Just tested it and it`s way better to play with dual analog. Just had to adjust the "mouse" sensivity in game.

@megavolt85 I`m using another adapter. The Retropad32.
Toy Racer works fine with it. But Fighting Vipers 2 and MDK 2 wont recognize the controller.

Looking forward seeing your project reach completion, especially the ability of being able to use a second analoge stick as a mouse for selected games is awesome.

Any chance you will support XBOX 360 controllers as well (in cooperation with the USB wireless receiver)?

Seems doubtful as he replied earlier in the thread "STM32F103 don't have USB host, it's can work only as USB device" for USB-based controllers. The Retropad32 supports it through a separate USB module though. It would be cool, as I am much more of a fan of the Xbox controllers than PS2 controllers. They are closer to real Dreamcast controllers.

all of them same result

ok, then need attach ACK and fix firmware

@megavolt85 Is that a saturn controller socket? or the PS2 ? and a regular DB9 for Mega drive.

Great work, already bought the materials to make one for testing.

Another question @megavolt85 : I want to make a PS2/MD/ST adaptor in the same, so i was thinking in having a selector switch for the common VCC (3.3V) for each mode, what do you think of that?

for Mega drive regular DB9
saturn and playstation sockets from aliexpress

bad idea, for example, saturn controller fine work without VCC (he get power over internal pull up resistors)
