I now have a disc copy of KUF crusaders. The thing is that it works on a non modded console. It has the same message I posted before about online features being disabled but then proceeds to boot the game. From the disc.

On a modded console it displays the message and then never boots the game. I am sure this is the case with other xbox original games that also disable live features. The modded console must have some sort of disk check feature removed, and thus the disk is never booted after this 'online features' message.

I am most definitely using the most recent files.

that's odd, I don't have that game so I can't check. Can you try with the hacked 2011 version of the emulator to see if the issue occurs?
If it works, try using the xbox.xex from the 2011 emulator and the xefu from the 2018 one (to see if the issue is front end related).

I would have to acquire that game somehow for testing purposes so I can know what's wrong and attempt to fix it.
It seems to be a front end issue, so writing a front end replacement would also fix the issue.

Do you have the issue when you run the game from a hard drive/usb ?

I extracted the KOF: Crusaders' iso to my XDK's hdd and ran the default.xbe, I got the warning you've mentioned but when I click OK it proceeds to run the game as expected and does not crash or error out.

I may need the actual game disc to know what is going on.

Are you on a retail console? Is there a way for you to run the XDK debugger and provide me with logs?

I have a retail console. I did try to find the debugging software.
It is exactly as you describe on a non-modded xbox 360 console, you press 'ok' and the game runs. On my modded xbox 360 consoles the error message flashes and then it never loads the game. The message disappears even if you dont press 'ok'. I even tried pressing 'a' quickly to select 'ok' but it would not load.

It is the same with an extracted iso or the disc on the modded console. I dont mind helping you out with either.
I would run the xdk, if I could find it. From what I can find you need a dev console?...

You wouldn't be running RGLoader or the such by any chance? The emulator isn't currently compatible with that. Did you get it working with any other game?

No. It works with many games. Many games that are supposedly incompatible according to the list at wikipedia.
I have it working with KUF Heroes perfectly, SSX tricky, unreal championship, midnight club 3 and many more. I have many original xbox games. But none of those have this error message either.

I think other users reported the same thing in the thread I mentioned previously.

I have it working with KUF Heroes perfectly, SSX tricky, unreal championship, midnight club 3 and many more. I have many original xbox games. But none of those have this error message either.

I think other users reported the same thing in the thread I mentioned previously.

What region of kuf crusaders are you using? I tried the US version.

Hum... It seems like I would need a JTAG/RGH console to debug this, this is not happening anytime soon unless someone wants to donate me one.

in fact, you can use BC even with RGLoader
You wouldn't be running RGLoader or the such by any chance? The emulator isn't currently compatible with that. Did you get it working with any other game?

Not only Kingdom Under Fire: Crusaders but Road Kill too. The same error (Xbox Live Online prompt) then freezes/crash. Initially both games are fine when played on RGH modded Xbox 360. I use the latest dashboard version. Installed Aurora with the latest Dashlaunch.

It seems that I can't reproduce this error on a XDK, so I would need a RGH/JTAG console to debug/fix this and I don't intent on buying one.
